Behind The BOT
We are team 4537, DRSS Enterprise from the Dayton Regional STEM School in Kettering, Ohio. Our members are students who come from all over the Dayton area and have been chosen to attend a school with a focus on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. The coaches and mentors that we work with are engineers for companies like Ball Aerospace and the Wright Patterson Air Force Base. We strive to integrate the five qualities of our school which are Inquiry, Persistence, Creativity, Collaboration, and Communication with the overarching FIRST quality of Gracious Professionalism. We are a ninth year team and the only at the Dayton Regional STEM School. We are very proud to have the opportunity to represent FIRST, our school, and community at all FTC events throughout the country.

FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) was founded in 1989 to inspire young people's interest and participation in science and technology. Based in Manchester, NH, FIRST is a not for-profit public charity that designs accessible, innovative programs that motivate young people to pursue education and career opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) while building self-confidence, knowledge, and life skills.
